For distributors with a “Platinum” qualification and above the comp plot pays 7% (7,7,7,7,5,3) up to 6 levels in a Unilevel with compression (with up to a combined 23% more in Platinum and Platinum Maximizer bonuses). For people below the Platinum level (5000 CGV + 3 Silvers) the compensation plot only pays up to 4% (4,3,2,1) and payment is reduced from 6 levels deep to 4. Donald Trump, business mogul and star of The Apprentice, is teaming up with MTV to develop a new reality series which is focused on the day-to-day lives of Trump’s beauty pageant winners.

The show, which will be entitled Pageant place, will give Trump the task of being a den mother to the girls on the show, one of who is former Miss USA Tara Conner, who was nearly dethroned a year ago. A few months after her victory, Conner was reported to have tested positive for cocaine use. A few days after the said report, a press conference was held, announcing that Conner would be sent to rehab to treat her alcohol problem. Trump also announced on the same press conference that he would not dethrone her, a go that was publicly criticized by Rosie O’Donnell, former The View host. O’Donnell’s comments added up to the tension of the on-going feud between her and Trump.

Trump talked to Variety about Pageant Place, and he said, “We’d been thinking about everything that happens backstage and how women like Tara captured the imagination of so many of us, including a slob named Rosie O’Donnell, who didn’t like that I gave Tara a second chance. And we thought, wouldn’t it be fantastic if we let the cameras roll?”

Aside from Conner, the reality show’s first season will also feature agent winners Riyo Mori (Miss Universe 2007), Rachel Smith (Miss USA 2007) and Katie Blair (Miss Teen USA 2006). In addition, 19 year ancient Blair was also involved in last year’s controversy and was reported to have kissed Conner while they were at a club.

The three beauty pageants are held over a specific period of time, thus viewers can expect newcomers to the show every four months.

The producers of Pageant Place also clarified that although Trump will have a major role on the show, it will not be similar to The Apprentice. “We won’t have any competitions or eliminations. We don’t need any of that because there’s already so much here. It’s all real,” clarified Trump Productions President Andy Litinsky in a conversation with Variety.

MTV has initially set eight episodes for the new reality series, but is open to the possibility of more episodes if the show does well.

Obviously, this is never going to end unless someone accepts defeat and apologizes, and the way things are going, it’s highly unlikely that Trump will be the one to surrender, and some may even attest that he should not.

Looking back, who can you say was clearly in the incorrect? Sure, O’Donnell was quick with her judgments. After all, what Trump did for recovering addict and Miss USA Tara Connor was pretty noble. He gave her a second chance at life, another opportunity to start over. Connor herself was humbled by Trump’s forgiveness and generosity, and has expressed her gratitude towards the wealthy businessman.

Okay, so it has been established that Trump did a excellent thing for Connor, but can the same be said about his reaction towards O’Donnell’s comments? Although she was a bit harsh for attacking Trump’s moral values, does she deserve to be subjected to this continuing humiliation? Or better yet, does Walters deserve to be involved in it? Trump knows that he is a powerful and influential man, and he’s using his status to his full advantage. Perhaps only time will tell what will become of this madness.
